Women’s equality day has been celebrated since 1971. Women’s voting rights were granted in 1920, however this did not include all women. By the year of 1971 when we officially begin to celebrate women’s equality day all women were given the right to vote. However, women’s rights continues to be continued fight for equity within today’s society.
As a head coach is it important to continue to teach our athletes to challenge the norm.
It is important to understand that we are Bold, smart, intelligent, we are unique, we are strong, we are multi-talkers, our voice is powerful, we are leaders, and together we can uplift each other.
